After growing up in a musical family in Germany, Rachel's formal training began with a BMus (Hons) in Music at the University of Edinburgh, where she also took part in multiple classical music and musical theatre societies, including winning the EUMS Sinfonia Concerto Competition (2019), the Emre Araci Composing Competition (2020), and being awarded lifetime membership of EUSOG and EdUni Footlights for her contributions to their musical theatre.
She continued her training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where she worked under the mentorship of Richard Bates, Steve Moss, Jordan Li-Smith, Stephen Brooker, Gareth Valentine, and more titans of the industry.
She is currently represented by Bronia Buchanan at BBA Management and works as an MD, composer, and pianist/accompanist primarily in and around London.
In addition to these pursuits, she also works as a rep coach at prestigious drama schools including Italia Conti, Trinity Laban, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and more.
